Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be generally stable. Over a wide area only a little snow is lying.

A little new snow above approximately 700 m: The avalanche danger will persist. Currently there are favourable conditions generally. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on extremely steep shady slopes. The avalanches are small and can only be released by large loads. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface, in particular on very steep sunny slopes. Thus far only isolated small loose snow slides are possible.

Snowpack Structure

Less snow than usual is lying. Below the tree line from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. A little new snow: The avalanche danger will persist.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
