In high Alpine regions only a little snow is lying. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially in steep terrain at high altitude and in the vicinity of peaks.

In particular on steep slopes and in the vicinity of peaks avalanches are possible especially at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. They are only small and can mostly be released by large loads.
