NC for 15/4/22 Snowpack thawing and generally well bonded. Surface instabilities present on steep slopes. Aval Hazard will be Low.

Forecast Snow Stability: The diminishing snowpack will continue to thaw at all levels. It will remain generally well bonded and stable. Some wet snow, surface instabilities will be present on steeper slopes, especially around gully tops and coire rims. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Another mild and dry day with no precipitation expected. Winds will be moderate Southerlies. The freezing level will be above the highest summits. Observed Weather Influences: A dry and mild day with extensive low cloud. The winds were light, initially from the West, backing to become Southerly by the afternoon. The freezing level was above the highest summits. ObservedSnowStability: The diminishing snowpack is soft and thawing at all levels. It is generally well bonded and stable on most aspects. Some wet snow, surface instabilites were present on the steepest slopes. The avalanche hazard is Low.
