Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected in the existing snow pack which will remain stable and well bonded. Most snow can be found on North to East aspects above 900 metres, particularly in steep corries and sheltered gullies. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry day is forecasted with only a minimal amount of summit snow expected in the late afternoon. South-South-Westerly winds will gradually increase throughout the period to become storm force. The freezing level will be around 1200 metres. Observed Weather Influences: After an initial damp morning, it turned out to be a mainly dry day. Light South-Westerly winds with the freezing level around 1000 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The old snow pack remains well bonded and stable with greatest accumulations found on North to East facing slopes above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
