Low avalanche danger, small Danger zones in high alpine regions due to snow deposit
Avalanche danger in general low. A few danger spots in shady slopes due to old drift snow in high shady and steep gullies and bowls which are exposed north to west. Drift snow packs are prone to tirggering with high additional load. Little new snow leads to hidden danger spots. Scale of slab avalanches would be medium to small.
The amount of new snow from the weekend has settled and shows surface crusts with layers of soft new snow. In shady slopes facetted snow packs are found.
During Wednesday overcast in low bases. Below 2.000m AMSL limited visibility with insufficient snowfall. Above 2.000 m AMSL chance of clear skies. Wind stays weak, temperatures in 2.000 m AMSL will be around -5°C
Avalanche danger remains slow.
