Points saillants

The majority of our regular terrain is unridable because of the very shallow snowpack.  The latest round of wet precipitation has further hindered winter travel.  It's probable that the high peaks have been getting more snow than rain.  Avalanches are possible on very high elevation slopes that the wind has blown snow onto.

Forecasters haven't been able to access high alpine slopes during this stormy period.  Given the forecast snow levels, and the mix of precipitation that I've seen over the weekend, it's possible that the high peaks have picked up some snow.  Wind Slab avalanches are possible on these high, lee slopes.
