Avalanche Summary

Many slopes are dangerous and capable of producing large and destructive avalanches. Slopes over 35 degrees are the most concerning, especially on west to north to southeast aspects. Keep your guard up, as the bulk of recent avalanches have been triggered from a distance away from the slope or down in the flats below steep terrain. Avalanches will break wider and deeper around ridges and wind-drifted features, where newly formed slabs are thick and well-connected. Play it safe by sticking to lower-angled, wind-sheltered terrain.
