Avalanche Summary

Strong winds on the tail of recent snowfall created cohesive slabs of snow at upper elevations. You could trigger avalanches where new snow sits on top of weak snow. Drifted snow may feel stiff, dense, or crack under your weight. The most dangerous slopes face north to northeast through east, but you may find reactive drifts on other slopes. If you see shooting cracks or feel collapsing, you can choose safer terrain by moving to slopes less than about 35 degrees in steepness.
