Avalanche Summary

There is a lingering threat of triggering an avalanche on northwest through north-to-east slopes at higher elevations. You can trigger an avalanche on open, planar slopes that break 1 to 2 feet deep on weak snow below. Stick to low-angle terrain if you are traveling in these areas of concern. Sunny slopes can offer safer travel options, but you will have to manage small wet avalanches as the snow heats up. These won't be large enough to bury you but can still knock you over and take you for a dangerous ride.
