Avalanche Summary

You could trigger an avalanche if you find a strong layer of snow sitting over weaker layer of snow on slopes steeper than about 35 degrees. The most dangerous slopes face northeast and east at upper elevations and are wind-drifted. Avoid traveling near common trigger points, such as the edges of slopes where the margins of a slab are the thinnest, convex rollovers, and rocky outcrops.
