Points saillants
At the upper elevations pockets of soft surface slab 1 foot to 18 inches in depth persist and could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects, in cliff areas and beneath cornices. Older slabs up to 3 feet in depth could also be initiated on steep northerly aspects especially by larger triggers such as snowmobiles or groups of people. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid and lower elevations except in wind loaded pockets on steeper slopes.
