Points saillants

Strong Southsouthwest winds and more snow continue to increase depths in lee starting zones. In the past two days human triggered avalanches to 6 feet in depth have occurred at upper and mid elevations near Targhee, Teton Pass and in Grand Teton National Park. Slides are traveling on the ground, early season crusts and layers within the newer snow. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended today. At lower elevations avoid steep areas, road cuts and terrain traps.
