The general avalanche hazard will be LOW in the morning while snow surfaces remain firm and increase to MODERATE after significant softening has occurred. Human triggered wet slides are possible in very steep terrain and cliff areas during the warmest portion of the day.     Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible today in steep terrain after snow surfaces soften. These wet slides could be human triggered. In isolated areas these wet slides may have some potential to step down with depths to six feet to deeply buried layers of weak faceted snow near the base of the snowpack.

Temperatures are forecast to drop into the mid-20s overnight and rise into the 40s and 50s during the day.
