Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. A couple of inches of new snow will fall short of raising the danger. Most slopes lack a stiffer slab needed to create an avalanche, and outside of some thin wind-hardened areas, the snowpack is thin and weak. You are much more likely to get injured hitting a rock or log than by an avalanche if you are riding or skiing off-trail.
