Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth persist on some steep wind loaded aspects and cliff areas that have not already had avalanche activity. Older hard slabs up to 7 feet in depth persist on southeast aspects. These slabs could be human triggered especially by larger triggers such as groups or snowmachines. The hazard will increase today as temperatures rise into the upper 30s at the higher elevations. Expect to see loose snow sluffs and sunballing on steep sunlit aspects and cliff areas that could trigger deeper events as the day warms up.
