At the mid and upper elevations surface slabs up to two feet in depth could be triggered by humans who venture into steep avalanche starting zones, couloirs and cliff areas. The potential to trigger these slabs will increase as the day warms. In areas with a thiner snowpack the warm up could reintroduce the potential for humans, especially those on snowmachines, to trigger dangerous full depth hard slab avalanches. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.

Building high pressure will keep skies clear Monday. Morning low temperatures will be in the mid teens then climb into the upper twenties to low thirties during the day. Winds on exposed ridges will be southwesterly and very light.In the Teton Area the general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE. People who venture into steep avalanche terrain could trigger surface slabs up to two feet deep.The general avalanche hazard in the Continental Divide/Togwotee Pass area is expected to be MODERATE. Backcountry users on steep slopes have the potential to trigger full depth hard slabs. The general avalanche hazard in the Southwest Trails/Greys River area is expected to be CONSIDERABLE. People traveling on steep slopes could trigger soft surface slabs up to two feet deep and/or full depth hard slabs.Periods of sustained, warm temperatures will increase the possibility for people to trigger slides in all areas.
