Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning and will increase to MODERATE above an elevation of 9,000 feet in the afternoon. Pockets of dense wind slab up to eighteen inches in depth exist in some steep, avalanche prone slopes, particularly under cornices, in steep open bowls and below cliff areas. Sunshine and warming temperatures will increase the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers.
