Avalanche Activity

TOR for 11/3 Snow cover generally unconsolidated and stable. Minor instabilities, steep E to SE aspects above 750m. Av Haz Moderate.

Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snow cover will remain generally unconsolidated, shallow and mostly lie on bare ground. However, localised instabilities will exist in areas of fresh windslab where it gains depth on East to South-East aspects above 750 metres. Steep terrain such as gully exits and round coire rims will be affected, although most areas will be avoidable. Minor cornice growth expected above similar aspects.
