Low avalanche danger will prevail.

On steep grassy slopes individual small to medium-sized gliding avalanches are possible. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. The small wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases in particular on very steep north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. In addition individual small loose snow avalanches are possible. In the event of prolonged bright spells this applies on extremely steep slopes.

5 to 15 cm of snow will fall on Wednesday. The wind will be moderate. As a consequence of new snow and wind, mostly small wind slabs will form in particular adjacent to ridgelines. They will be deposited on soft layers on north and east facing slopes. The snowpack is wet all the way through and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a melt-freeze crust that is barely capable of bearing a load.

Gliding snow represents the main danger.
