Avalanche Activity

Wet and gliding avalanches are the main danger. Backcountry tours should be concluded early.

As a consequence of warming during the day, the likelihood of wet avalanches being released will increase gradually in all regions. In particular on shady slopes small and medium-sized avalanches are possible. Gliding avalanches are possible. Avalanches can as before be released, in particular by large loads.

Snowpack Structure

On sunny slopes a little snow is lying. The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to significant moistening of the snowpack.

Tendency

Light precipitation.
