Points saillants
In the last three days over thirty inches of snow that has been accompanied by strong Southwest winds has fallen in the mountains. Slabs to four feet lie on older hard crusts as well as weak layers of faceted snow. These DANGEROUS slabs will be easily triggered today on steep slopes on most aspects at the mid and upper elevations with high elevations being the most sensitive. At the low elevations pockets of slabs to greater than two feet may be triggered on steep terrain. In the evening yesterday, Glory Bowl slid naturally and Twin Slides was released with explosives, with both slides covering the road.
