Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for areas surrounding Wolf Creek, Cumbres, and La Manga Passes. Heavy snow and strong winds have created very dangerous avalanche conditions. Some avalanches will release naturally and you can trigger a slide from a distance or below slopes. Avalanches can break wider and run farther than you expect producing a larger slide. Avoid travel in or under avalanche terrain.
