Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. However, avalanches are possible even at LOW (level 1 of 5) danger. Although unlikely, there is a chance that you can trigger an avalanche that breaks deeply in the snowpack. Slopes that face north through east to south at upper elevations are where you are most likely to trigger one of these avalanches. Avoid steep slopes, especially on the abovementioned aspects, to avoid these avalanches. You may still find some remnant wind-drifted areas below ridgelines and in gullies or couloirs. Be very careful if you are riding above terrain traps such as rocks, trees, or cliffs.
