Avalanche Summary

You will be able to easily trigger a large and dangerous avalanche on slopes facing west through northeast to southeast, and some avalanches may run naturally. You can trigger avalanches from the bottom of slopes, or from a long distance, so wide margins around steep terrain and cautious route finding is essential. You may not experience cracking or collapsing as a warning sign of unstable snow, so treat all steep wind-loaded slopes as suspect. Stick to more wind-sheltered areas and slopes less than about thirty degrees with no steep slopes above you for safer options.
