The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Deep instabilities persist near the base of the snowpack in some areas. The possibility persists for humans, especially those on snow machines, to trigger hard slab avalanches to depths of six feet or more in very steep avalanche terrain. The potential for humans to trigger one of these deep hard slabs will increase as temperatures rise.
