Avalanche Activity

CM 18/12. Low hazard. Limited new thin windslab on NE to SE aspects above 950m

Pockets of thin windslab may form later in the afternoon on some steep North East through East to South East aspects above 950m. Any new accumulations expected to be very limited in extent and well bonded especially those that form over bare ground. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Observed Weather Influences: Mild throughout with light persistent rain. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is sparse and confined to a few coire rims and favoured gullies mainly on East South East to South East aspects. What snow remains is isothermal, moist and generally well stabilised. The avalanche hazard is Low
