Natural wet avalanches especially on very steep grassy slopes.

In particular on very steep grassy slopes small wet avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The more recent wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The weather conditions will give rise to rapid and thorough wetting of the snowpack in all aspects. As a consequence of the strong foehn wind the natural avalanche activity will increase.
