Avalanche Discussion
No avalanche problem are expected on Friday. However, low danger does not mean avalanches cannot happen. There can be isolated pockets of unstable snow, especially in steep and extreme terrain. The terrain that comes to mind are steep, rocky, and shaded high elevation slopes.
Due to the overnight freeze, low sun, and high clouds, I do not expect the snow surface to warm up enough to bring on wet loose avalanches. The exception could be at the lowest elevations in the forecast zone on steep south facing slopes.....but then again there is not much snow in that kind of terrain right now.
