Points saillants

Avalanche activity will be unlikely on Friday but not out of the question. Keep an eye on the surface snow and how the sun/warming is affecting it. If you begin sinking into wet and slushy snow, then wet snow avalanches can happen especially in steep terrain. If these condtions arise, consider moving to lower angle terrain or slopes that are more shaded and out of the direct sun.

With increasing clouds the likelihood of this problem will decrease. However, with the daytime high temperatures expected to be in the mid 40's at mid elevations the upper pack may get enough warming/sun to bring on this problem. It is worth keeping in mind especially if you are travelling in steep terrain. I expect any avalanche activity to be small, but remember small avalanches can lead to long falls on steep slopes.
