Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will remain well bonded and stable. Localised accumulations of fresh unstable windslab will develop mainly on North and North-East aspects above 1200 metres. These are not expected to be extensive. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Strong South-South-West winds. Showers falling as snow above around 1100 metres. Freezing level around 1200 metres. Observed Weather Influences: It was a mild day with strong South-West winds. Dry apart from an occasional heavy shower. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snowpack is wet, well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
