Forecast Snow Stability: The moist snowpack will continue to slowly thaw, remain stable and be limited in extent. The greatest amounts will be confined to coire head walls, ridge flanks and plateau areas of a North-West though North-East to South-East aspect above 1000 metres. Superficial summit snow will be inconsequential. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Light showers overnight will bring rain, with sleet and snow confined to the highest summits. Snow will resume at the very end of the day, falling above 900 metres. Strong West-South-West winds will back to become South-West in direction and increase to gale force later. The freezing level will be above the summits, lowering to 900 metres at the very end of the period. Observed Weather Influences: There were light rain showers at all elevations on strong Westerly winds. The freezing level was above the highest summits. ObservedSnowStability: The old snowpack is patchy, well bonded and stable. The greatest amounts are confined to steep coire head walls, ridge flanks and gully tops of a North-West through through North to Easterly aspect above 1000 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
