Some snow will fall until Sunday in all regions, in the western part of the northern flank of the Alps. The avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released especially by large additional loads here. As a consequence of falling temperatures, the natural activity of moist and wet avalanches will gradually decrease.
