Snowpack Structure

As a consequence of snowfall and the wind, fresh snow drift accumulations will form. The new snow and wind slabs are in some cases still prone to triggering.

In particular on steep slopes natural avalanches are possible. Medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large avalanches are possible in the regions with a lot of snow.
