Avalanche Summary

On Sunday, conditions will be unusually dangerous, and avalanches may act differently than expected. Strong winds and heavy wet snow will drift slabs onto weak surfaces from last week's undisturbed storm. You could trigger avalanches from below and a distance. In weaker areas below the treeline, they may gouge to the ground. The most dangerous slopes will be where you find rounded pillows of wind-drifted snow. You can find safer riding on slopes less than 30 degrees without overhead hazards.
