Yesterday, a snowboarder remotely triggered a slide with crown depths up to 14 inches on a southerly aspect at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Use conservative decision making, careful route finding, and good travel habits. Training and experience are essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain.
