Points saillants
Soft slabs to one foot in depth lie on slopes from a system 2 days ago. Although these slabs have bonded well with the slick crusts they lie upon, skiers, boarders, and snowmobilers could trigger pockets to release on steep wind loaded slopes and near cliff area. The probability to release these slabs as well as wet slides will increase today at all elevations on sunlit slopes as significant warming occurs.
