Points saillants

Soft surface slabs up to four feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations. Friday a skier was killed when he triggered a small slab on a northerly aspect in Granite Canyon and was swept off a cliff. Yesterday a skier was injured in a slide in Horseshoe bowl north of Teton Pass. Similiar events are likely to be triggered today especially on steep, wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. At the lower elevations pockets of slab up to two feet in depth could be human triggered. Wet slides are possible today on steep sunlit aspects and at low elevations on steep terrain.
