Points saillants
At the upper elevations pockets of surface slabs up to two feet in depth exist on some steep wind loaded aspects. If triggered these slabs could pull out deeper snow layers all the way to the ground. The hazard at all elevations will increase rapidly as air temperatures rise. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches are likley during the warmer portions of the day. These events have been observed to run on the ground surface. Travel in avalanche terrain is not advised after significant warming has occured.
