Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Above 8,000 feet southwest winds have formed isolated pockets new soft slab up to 10 inches in depth. These pockets of slab lie upon a layer of weak cold faceted snow and are likely to be easily triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. Avalanches are unlikley below 8,000 feet where the snowpack is less than six inches deep.
