Points saillants
DANGEROUS unstable slabs exist at high and mid elevations today. Strong winds from the South to West have deposited these slabs on leeward slopes with depths of up to three feet. These slabs will be easily human triggered today in steep avalanche terrain. On Southerly aspects they lie upon recent slick crusts and on other aspects they could pull out deeper recent layers of snow on steep rocky slopes. At low elevations pockets of slab to a foot in depth lie on hard snow surfaces and could be triggered in steep wind loaded areas.
