Avalanche Summary

Unseasonably hot temperatures elevate the chance for wet avalanches. Small loose slides may gain mass as they move downhill and trigger a larger slab avalanche. Northeast and east slopes produced the largest avalanches over the weekend and are the most suspect slopes for triggering larger wet snow slides.

The window for supportable snow travel is short or non-existent on many slopes. Expect trapdoor conditions early in the day. If you sink into wet snow above your boot top, it's time to head to low-angle slopes or just out of the mountains altogether.
