As the snowfall becomes more intense individual small and medium sized avalanches are possible as the day progresses. They can be released, in particular by large additional loads.
Snowpack Structure
The snowpack will become moist in the late morning. As a consequence of snowfall and the occasionally strong wind, fresh snow drift accumulations will form in the course of the day. These are to be assessed with care and prudence. Avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads and reach medium size.
