Forecast Snow Stability: The older snowpack, which exists mainly in North and East facing corries above 900 metres, will remain well bonded, firm and stable. Very isolated and shallow accumulations of unstable windslab will persist on South-West and West aspects and develop in the afternoon on North-West aspects above 800 metres. These will be generally avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain dry and very cold. Light Westerly winds will veer Easterly overnight and then veer further to South-Easterly and increase to moderate in the afternoon.
