Avalanche Summary

Loose avalanches drive the avalanche danger right now. In shady terrain, you can easily push loose avalanches in cohesionless snow that could grow large on continuously steep slopes. On sunny slopes, you can push small wet avalanches as the day warms.

To further reduce your risk, avoid stiffer, drifted terrain features at higher elevations.
