Points saillants

Currently increasing snow and wind at the mid and upper elevations is creating very soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth. These slabs lie upon DANGEROUS older slabs up to 5 feet in depth which are barely supported by weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs will be easily triggered by people who approach or venture onto them. Slabs to 4 feet continue to be triggered in the backcountry. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED. At the lower elevations slabs up to 3 feet in depth could be triggered on steep avalanche prone terrain.
