Avalanche Summary

New snow from Sunday is slowly building our snowpack and increasing the number of slopes where you might be able to trigger a small avalanche. The areas that are most concerning are where you find deeper pockets of wind-drifted snow above treeline. Evaluate and avoid areas where drifts are growing in size near ridgelines above exposed rocks. Even a small slide can be nasty if it carries you over rocks.
