Avalanche Summary

You could trigger an avalanche in freshly drifted snow on easterly and south-facing slopes at upper elevations. Look for and avoid areas with a rounded snow surface directly below ridgelines or on the sides of gullies or chutes. Re-route your travel plans if you see shooting cracks or fresh cornices forming along ridgelines.
