Avalanche Summary

If you were to trigger an avalanche, it would be in a hard-drifted area on a steep slope facing north, northeast, or east. Evade stiff, hollow-sounding snow on slopes steeper than 35 degrees to avoid triggering a small avalanche. Even a small slide can be dangerous in the wrong terrain.

New snow over the weekend is borderline if it will be enough to increase avalanche danger.
