Points saillants
With increasing snowfall at the mid and upper elevations fragile soft slabs will increase up to 18 inches in depth. These slabs rest on slippery crusts and could be easily triggered by skiers or snowmobilers. Deeper instabilities lurk with the potential for slides to pull out deeper snow. At elevations of 8000 feet and below, with no overnight freezing and forecasted rain, the potential for wet slides will continue to increase. Roadcuts will be affected.
