Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will increase to CONSIDERABLE in the afternoon. Warming temperatures and sunshine are expected to soften melt-freeze crusts and increase the hazard as the day progresses. Once the crusts soften and lose thier strengh wet slides will be possible on a variety of aspects. These wet slides could step down to the ground or buried layers of weak faceted snow. Avoid steep slopes, gullies and avalanche runout zones during the heat of the day.
